What To Do If Your Baggage is Delayed

If your luggage is delayed or damaged, immediately report the issue to your airline’s baggage claim office in the baggage claim area. With most airlines, you’ll receive a file reference number to use to check on your bag status and initiate any claims.

Also ask what compensation you qualify for while you wait for your bags (if you are away from your home and need to purchase basic personal items).

If your airline does not have an office, or you have already left the airport, contact your airline as soon as possible through their website.
